DUBLIN, CA — Pride Month began Sunday and continues through June, with a few ways in Dublin to participate in the celebration of LGBTQ culture, rights and identity.
At the beginning of the year, the Dublin City Council dubbed June 2025 as LGBTQ+ Pride Month, "recognizing the importance of fostering acceptance for all residents and preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity."
To honor this designation, the city council is hosting a ceremony on Tuesday night to raise the Progress Pride Flag. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the flagpole in front of the Dublin Civic Center at 100 Civic Plaza. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.
