Donate to this local Boy Scout troop to recycle your tree this year.

DUBLIN, CA — Don't dump or burn your Christmas tree this year — recycle your tree or donate to a local Boy Scout troop instead.

One of the trickiest parts about wrapping up the holiday season can be figuring out what to do with your Christmas tree.

Luckily, Troop 905 of Dublin will be out collecting holiday trees on Jan. 4 for a $10 donation. Plus, holiday trees can also dropped off at a Dublin recycling center for free through Jan. 18.
