The spirit of exploration and discovery was alive at Dublin Library as young minds gathered for an exciting workshop designed to spark their curiosity about science and space. The hands-on event - Blast off to Space with Saanvi , led by Saanvi Phaneendra, provided an engaging introduction to the wonders of space exploration, rocketry, and scientific discovery for kids aged 10 to 18.

The interactive session featured an informative presentation covering fundamental concepts of space travel, rockets, and astronauts, weaving in thought-provoking questions to challenge and engage the young participants. From learning about Saturn 5 and SpaceX and Blue Origin to discussing NASA's Artemis program and private space ventures, the workshop encouraged critical thinking and curiosity about the universe.

One of the most exciting segments of the event was the hands-on paper rocket model activity, where students built and launched their own paper rockets. This practical experience not only demonstrated basic physics principles such as thrust and aerodynamics but also inspired participants to think about engineering and space technology careers.
