Jordan Ranch Park To Be Named "Central Forest Park"

The Dublin City Council are set to approve the most popular name for the two-acre park, which follows the theme of "the forest."

DUBLIN, CA — The people have spoken: the future two-acre park on the Jordan Ranch development will be called Central Forest Park, pending approval of the Dublin City Council.

The planned two-acre park on Central Parkway adheres to the theme of “The Forest.” In addition to a multi-use sports court, picnic areas, playground, and fitness stations, the park will feature a pollinator garden and a nature playground. It is tentatively scheduled to be completed in summer 2025.

To help name the park, the city put out a public survey. Respondents were asked to suggest names based on geographic location or characteristics, topography, adjoining areas, historical significance, or more.
