Letter: Resident Likes Dawn Nwamuo For Dublin School Board
"After knowing her for more than 30 years I can comfortably say she will do whatever she can to ensure that EVERY child ... succeed[s]."

A reader submission from David C. Augusta Jr.:
Who is DawnNwamuo, M.D.?
As someone who has watched her grow, I have a lot to say about this question! I was blessed with the opportunity to watch her journey unfold before my eyes. We began with humble beginnings as teenagers together in High School. Most of us at that time were anticipating the next school dance, the latest in trend threads and what boy or girl had our eye.

This was not Dawn. When I would go into the library, there she was studying! From the earliest ages I am told she was dedicated to learning and creating a path to her goals. I look back and wish I had the tenacity and perseverance Dawn possessed. She dedicated herself to education very early and realized it’s importance. Today, I see her demonstrate the same drive as she wears many hats including being a mother of two fine boys, spouse and finding time as a physician to give back to her community. She started a group on Facebook which is dedicated to uplifting people during these disheartening times with words of encouragement during these very uncertain times we are currently living in.
I honestly don’t know how she does it? But she does it with what appears to be ease and grace. Dr. Nwamuo would be an asset to the Dublin School District. After knowing her for more than 30 years I can comfortably say she will do whatever she can to ensure that EVERY child in the Dublin School District is at the least given the tools to succeed. She is the epitome of success and humbleness. I encourage you all to consider her as your choice when casting your votes.
