National Award For Photography Given To Dublin Student
The local student and photographer was awarded the National Society of High School Scholars Visual Arts Scholarship.
DUBLIN, CA — A Dublin student has been recognized for their excellence in photography, according to a news release sent to Patch.
Shreya Chandra received the Visual Arts Scholarship from the National Society of High School Scholars.
The scholarship recognizes students who have shown excellence in photography, painting, drawing, mixed media, or digital art.

Chandra was one of five students selected out of 200 applicants to receive a $2,000 scholarship.
Their winning submission was a photo titled "Field of Light."
