Paarth Agrawal earns Eagle Scout Award
For his Eagle Scout project, he built a table with an attached sink at a community garden named Fertile Groundworks, based in Livermore.
Paarth Agrawal completed his Eagle Board of Review and was honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on August 24, 2025. Paarth is the son of Divyang Agrawal and Nidhi Bansal of Dublin, Ca.
He is a member of Troop 998, sponsored by V.F.W. Ambrose D. Regalia Post #6298 of Pleasanton. Thanks go to his Scoutmaster, Clayton Carroll, for his dedication to Scouting and help along the way.
Paarth has been active in Scouting and has been a leader in the troop as a Den Chief. He loves being Den Chief for Pack 901 in Pleasanton to support the next generation of scouting and get more people interested in the activity. Being a Den Chief has taught responsibility, teamwork, and how to lead by example.

Parth loves Scouting because of all the opportunities to learn life skills, such as cooking, swimming and first aid, among many others. He felt the community, and was able to meet many new people, both leaders and fellow scouts. There were also activities, such as camping. He was able to go to Seabase, a scout facility in the US Virgin Islands in June of this year and spent a week with many new and fun activities, such as sailing. Completing the required merit badges gave him an extensive learning opportunity in many different subject areas.
For his Eagle Scout project, he built a table with an attached sink at a community garden named Fertile Groundworks, based in Livermore. The project itself took 159 hours (between him, family, friends, and other scouts) from February to March of 2025. The project included a total of 20 helpers. The organization’s supervisors were Lori Pohlmann and Brenda Kusler, and they greatly appreciated the project, as the new table and sink allowed them more space to wash and package their organic crops. Paarth highly recommends visiting Fertile Groundworks, as they are always looking for new volunteers, and because you can buy healthy, organic produce and support the community at the same time!
