Power Restored in Dublin, Other Tri-Valley Cities

Power has been restored for thousands of Pacific Gas & Electric Co. customers in Dublin who were without electricity Thursday morning.

DUBLIN, CA -- Electricity has been restored for over 3,000 Pacific Gas & Electric Co. customers who experienced a power outage this morning.

The outage began around 9 a.m. and almost entirely affected Dublin customers, though some were without power in San Ramon. The outage stretched from the area of Bella Vista Elementary School in San Ramon to Donlon Elementary in Pleasanton.

PG&E estimated power would be restored around 3 p.m., but most customers saw their power back on by 1 p.m. Dublin residents saw a similar power outage affect their city back in May.

The cause of the latest outage is under investigation, according to PG&E.
