Storm Damage, Rain Totals In Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin lost at least three trees over the past few days as winds approached 75 mph. A city tree fell over on Tassajara Road at Gleason Drive, while crews also responded to two downed trees that fell on private property and blocked the road at eastbound Amador Valley Boulevard before Village Parkway and Sunwood Drive, according to city spokesperson Shari Jackman.
City crews received a number of calls to clear limbs and debris, including a construction fence, from roadways, sidewalks, and parks.
The city received a total of 4.56 inches of rain from Monday, Jan. 29 to Monday, Feb. 5, according to The Mercury News. From Saturday to Monday, the city received 1.54 inches.

Unlike neighboring Danville and San Ramon, no major power outages were reported in Dublin. Danville and Alamo had up to 5,000 customers without power Monday morning, though that was reduced to 715 by 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Still, more rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, though it is not predicted to be as intense, and the sun may peak through at points during both days. Winds are not predicted to go above 8 mph, according to Accuweather. The city is no longer under any National Weather Service alerts or watches.
