Take a Look at Alameda County Fire's Three New Engines

The Pierce ArrowXT engines were shipped to Dublin from Appleton, Wisconsin.

DUBLIN, CA: The Alameda County Fire Department took delivery of three new fire engines at their vehicle maintenance facility in Dublin Tuesday, firefighters said. The Pierce ArrowXT engines were shipped from Appleton, Wisconsin.

Before the new fire engines can be used in the field, however, firefighters expect each engine to need at least 225 hours of work from their team of mechanics. Further details about the new engines were not immediately available.
