“All families and children are devastated by this loss and I am hoping this can help them get through this difficult time,” Curtiss wrote on the GoFundMe page.

“Katie is loved by many and will be missed by everyone. My goal here is to help her mom and dad raised money for her funeral so that they can bury her peacefully and with minimal stress. We will never get over the loss of Katie, but donations will help us celebrate her life and we thank everyone for their support.”
