DUBLIN, CA — Firefighters contained a vegetation fire that ignited in Dublin Monday off Rothschild Place by San Ramon Road. That's in West Dublin near Dolan Park.

Fire officials sent a final report just after 3 p.m.

The fire was kept to less than one acre, fire officials said. No injuries or structural damages were reported.

The fire was deemed under control around 1:30 p.m. but residents were asked to avoid the area, Alameda County Fire said.

Activities for students at Dublin Elementary were limited to indoors Monday afternoon after reports of poor air quality in the area. The school district said as of 2 p.m., the air quality 'improved dramatically.'
