Homegirl Cafe is hosting a Garden Party on September 10, 2011 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, 1254 North Spring Street. The reception is from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m and we hope you can join us for this free event. Please come and learn more about Homegirl's garden program.
Homegirl Gardens is a component of the Homegirl Cafe & Catering training program aimed at bringing fresh, organic produce direct from our urban gardens and farms to Homegirl Cafe. Through education about the origins of fresh food, organic food production, composting and local food resources, Homegirl Cafe hopes to empower trainees to seek healthy food resources in their own communities.
