LAPD's Northeast Division Makes '24' Parody [Video]

The video features familiar locations in the Northeast area.

The Northeast Division of the Los Angeles Police Department announced Tuesday it has produced a video it believes dramatically demonstrates the department's "Lock It, Hide It, Keep It" campaign designed to prevent thefts from vehicles.

Describing the video as "action-packed" and "professionally produced," the five-minute video was produced with the assistance of 20th Century Fox and features familiar locations in the Northeast area.

The plot focuses on a man whose iPad is stolen from his car, and he is desperate to get it back. Police are able to apprehend the thief, but they remind the man that the tablet wouldn't have been stolen if he hadn't left it in a visible location.
