Advisory: Winds to Return

Better tie that porch furniture down--and maybe those garden Gnomes too.

Strong northerly winds will are expected to blow again through the area Tuesday evening. They'll die down by Wednesday though.

The National Weather Service reports a wind advisory will be in effect for Los Angeles from five o'clock in the evening Tuesday until nine o'clock on Wednesday morning.

North winds of 15-25 miles-per-hour--and gusts to 40 miles-per-hour--could develop below canyons and passes in Western Los Angeles, including the Hollywood Hills.

The NWS has not issued a red flag alert for fire danger.
