Elk Grove Resident Wins $20,000 From the CA Lottery
A losing ticket turned out to be very lucky.
ELK GROVE, CA — Elk Grove resident Brandon Urbano is starting the year $20,000 richer, after being selected in the California Lottery's Holiday 2nd Chance Bonus Draw. The other two winners in the drawing also received $20,000.
Each of the winners entered the drawing by submitting their losing scratch-off lottery tickets.

The deadline to enter the next drawing for losing scratcher tickets is Jan. 19. Submit your non-winning 2025 Scratchers for a chance to win $25,000.
Losing tickets are also eligible for a weekly drawing.
