• Woman killed in Elk Grove hit-and-run crash identified (abc10.com) — A 25-year-old Sacramento woman was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday night while crossing Bruceville Road in Elk Grove, and police are still searching for the dark-colored SUV that struck her. Family members are remembering Sundi Washington-Wolff as kind and creative, while investigators ask anyone with information to contact the Elk Grove Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.
   

• Early Morning Solo Car Crash Claims Life in Sacramento County Amid Poor Weather Conditions (hoodline.com) — A deadly early-morning single-car crash near Franklin Boulevard and Point Pleasant Road, just outside Elk Grove, is under investigation after the vehicle hit a telephone pole in poor weather. CHP says no other cars were involved and slick, low-visibility conditions likely played a role. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity or the exact number of occupants.
