• Elk Grove Police Motor Officer Unharmed in Collision While Responding to Call (hoodline.com) — An Elk Grove Police Department motor officer escaped injury after a vehicle collided with his motorcycle as he turned from Promenade Parkway onto Grant Line Road with lights and siren activated. Westbound Kammerer Road traffic was briefly diverted during the investigation, but police say the roadway has fully reopened and the officer was evaluated at a local hospital as a precaution.
