Street in Elk Grove to be Closed Indefinitely Starting Monday

An Elk Grove intersection will be closed on Monday for construction, and city officials don't know when it will reopen.

Bow Street Closure Scheduled

Elk Grove, CA – Beginning July 1, the City of Elk Grove will close Bow Street at Toad Hollow Way near the Sheldon Place neighborhood.

A gate will be installed on the north end of the street to allow for emergency vehicle access. A message sign has been in place to alert motorists in advance of the road closure.  The closure is necessary to accommodate residential development in the area.  It will reopen when additional development occurs.  A reopening date has not been scheduled.  Repairs to Bow Street will be made before it is reopened and construction on the subdivision resumes.
