5 Things to Know in Encinitas This Week

It's Monday, that means we're back to the grind, but this week is a sunny one in Encinitas. 

  1. Weather.com shows the week to be mostly sunny in Encinitas with temperatures in the 70s.
  2. A new group—the  Encinitas Hospitality Association—is working to address concerns of rowdiness in the downtown area. Councilmember Lisa Shaffer wrote in her newsletter that she hopes the group will hold a long-lasting partnership with the City. 
  3. Encinitas Sushi Lounge announced Friday that it is looking for a hard-working busier. They can be reached at (760) 633-2299. 
  4. The Rancho Coastal Humane Society will debut its new website Wednesday. There will be some down time, but the address will still be sdpets.org.
  5. The registration this month only for the 2014 Cardiff Kook Run on Feb. 2 is at 2012 prices, which start at $29. Tickets can be purchased at cardiffkookrun.com.
