SAN DIEGO, CA — Santa Claus came to town a little early this year to spread some holiday cheer in the neonatal intensive care unit at Jacobs Medical Center at UC San Diego Health.
This year, Dr. Richard Song, assistant medical director of the NICU and neonatologist at UC San Diego Health, donned the beard and red coat to help families get into the holiday spirit while their newborn receives care in the hospital.
To celebrate the special visit, parents dressed in their holiday best and prepared festive decorations for their babies' first photos with Santa.
