A New Encinitas resident is reminding locals to be mindful of coyotes this time of year.Â
The reader—who asked we don't use his name—told Patch that he spotted two coyotes on Turner Avenue at about 2 a.m. Tuesday and chased them off after they attacked his cat.Â
The cat is an indoor cat that decided to stay out, he added.Â
