ENCINITAS, CA — An Encinitas student and tennis player recently earned her 100th career singles win.

Beatrix Monday Yankus, tennis team captain at The Grauer School, set a new school record with her big win.

"This is a tremendous accomplishment, a new school record, and a huge testament to Beatrix's hard work over the past four years," said Dana Abplanalp-Diggs, head of school at The Grauer School, an independent school in Encinitas. "We are proud of Beatrix for representing The Grauer School and Horizon Prep's Women's CIF Tennis Team so impressively in her competitions."

Prospective students and families can learn more about The Grauer School at its annual Discover Grauer Open House between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 1. The private school serves students in seventh through 12th grades.
