Pet of the Week: Jimmy is a Happy Retriever

"Jimmy" is the Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He's a 6-1/2 year old, 47 pound, Golden Retriever mix.        

Jimmy could possibly be the happiest dog that you’ll ever meet. Whether you look at his photos, watch his video on the website, or meet Jimmy face-to-furry-face at Rancho Coastal Humane Society, you’ll see that he’s constantly smiling. At 47 pounds, he’s not what you would call a “big” dog. But he has enough strength and enthusiasm that Jimmy will probably do best in a mature home with older kids or teens.

He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another animal shelter through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program.

The $145 adoption fee for Jimmy includes his medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip identification.
