Pet of the Week: Skipper the Zooming Kitten

"Skipper" is the Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He's a 7 month old, 9 pound, Abyssinian – Red Tabby mix. Even though he’s not a tiny baby, Skipper is still very much a kitten.     

One minute Skipper can be doing “kitty zooms.” He can jump almost anywhere he wants to go. And climbing is no problem! But when he’s done…he’s done. Then it’s time for someone to rub his chin while he purrs gently and drifts off into a cat nap.  

His previous owner was injured and she had to give up Skipper. In his old home, he lived with other cats. So if you already have a cat and you’re looking for a playmate....Skipper could be the kitty you’re looking for.  

The $145 adoption fee for Skipper includes his medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip identification.
