Storm Prompts Wind Advisory For Encinitas
Officials said to be cautious of unsecured objects, tree limbs that could be blown down and possible power outages.
ENCINITAS, CA — A storm will bring gusty winds in addition to rain Tuesday to San Diego County.
A wind advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for the county's coastal and valley areas, according to the National Weather Service. Affected areas include Oceanside, Poway, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Vista, San Diego, Chula Vista, Encinitas, National City, Escondido, La Mesa, Santee and El Cajon.
South winds from 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph are expected in the area, according to the NWS.

"Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," forecasters warned. "Use extra caution."
