3 Bodies Found Inside Fremont Home

A large emergency response descended on a Fremont neighborhood Monday after officers found the bodies of a woman and two children.

FREMONT, CA — Police and medics responding to a call at a Fremont home found the bodies of a woman and two kids inside, officials announced Monday afternoon. In a news release confirming initial details, the Fremont Police Department confirmed a death investigation and large emergency response at a residence on the 40000 block of Inglewood Common, just south of Central Park.

Law enforcement said officers located the body of a woman and two juveniles upon entering the home and called more investigators to the scene. Citing the "sensitivity of this investigation," officials said further details on the case would not be immediately available.

Officials cautioned that neighbors should expect a heavy police presence in the area for several hours as the investigation continued but said there was no threat to the community at large. Detectives ask that people living in the area review any surveillance they may have and reach out to investigators via e-mail with any potential leads.
