- Machete-Wielding Suspect Threatens Dog-Owner Near Hotel: PD
A suspect was arrested on Oct. 2 after being accused of threatening to stab a person and their dog outside a hotel on Fremont Boulevard, according to the Fremont Police Department.
The suspect made the threats because they were upset the person had let the dog use the bathroom in some bushes near the hotel, authorities said.

- Bank Robbers Arrested After Short Pursuit: PD
Four people were arrested after robbing a bank along Mission Boulevard on Oct. 3, police said.
Officers found the suspects trying to drive away on the I-880 Freeway.
The suspects tried to run away but were caught, police said.
- Suspects With Machete Threatens Grocery Store Employee: PD
A machete-wielding suspect threatened an employee at a grocery store along Mowry Avenue on Oct. 4, police said.
They were arrested for giving the officers a false identification, possessing methamphetamine, along with other drug paraphernalia and multiple outstanding warrants, police said.
- Shoplifter Found Hiding In Garbage Enclosure: PD
Two people were taken into custody on suspicion of shoplifting from a department store along Fremont Boulevard on Oct. 5.
One suspect ran to an apartment complex while another hid in a garbage enclosure, police said. Officers located both of them, police said.
