Bay Area Doctor Accused Of Sexually Battering Patient
Police say the doctor "inappropriately" touched a woman during a consultation.

MILPITAS, CA — A Bay Area doctor has been arrested on suspicion of sexually battering a patient, according to the Milpitas Police Department.
Police say the doctor, identified as Sanjay Agarwal, inappropriately touched a patient during a consultation. It's unclear exactly when the consultation took place, but the woman who accused the doctor of sexual battery reported it to police on Sept. 16, according to authorities.
Following an investigation, detectives went to Agarwal's office and took him into custody in connection with the crime, according to Milpitas police.

The Milpitas police department said Thursday that there may be more victims and asked that anyone who may have had a similar issue with the doctor contact detectives at 408-586-2400. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can submit tips at 408-596-2500.
