Campo di Bocce is a family owned Italian restaurant and United States Bocce Federation affiliated Bocce venue. The fundamental building block for first class Bocce facilities in the United States, Campo di Bocce’s first location opened its doors in Los Gatos in 1997. According to Ben Musolf, COO at Campo di Bocce, “This was the first Bocce and dining entertainment facility of its kind in the US.”
Their second location, in Livermore, opened in 2006 and became an immediate hit among Tri-Valley diners and Bocce enthusiasts. Nestled in the center of a vineyard and suggestive of Italy’s Tuscan hillsides, the Livermore location recently hosted the 2016 National Bocce Championships.
Campo di Bocce is the brainchild of Bocce Aficionado, Tom Albanese. In his quest to create a place for great Italian food, friendship, fun, and of course Bocce, Tom has fashioned Campo di Bocce as an ideal location for family gatherings, corporate outings, wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and simply a venue to socialize and enjoy friends.
According to Musolf, “Campo di Bocce’s first 2 facilities have become fixtures on the Bocce circuit and among locals looking to enjoy fine food, fun, new friendship and a fine glass of wine. Truly the ultimate experience in dining and recreation, Campo di Bocce’s new Fremont location offers state-of-the-art Bocce courts, traditional Italian cuisine, a superb wine list and a friendly atmosphere of casual elegance.”
The new Fremont location, in the former City Beach sports complex, is designed to make it Campo di Bocce’s premier restaurant and Bocce venue.
Musolf said, “This new Fremont facility will be our largest endeavor to date, and I expect it to become one that City of Fremont will prize.”
