The resources covers everything from earthquake preparedness to flooding and storm prep for the city's residents.

FREMONT, CA — The city of Fremont is now offering resources covering everything from earthquake preparedness to flooding and storm prep for city residents and others looking to learn more about how to be prepared should the unthinkable happen.

Available on the city's new Emergency Preparedness webpage, residents can explore the city's offerings with the click of a mouse.

"Check out our new Emergency Preparedness webpage, and Earthquake and Wildfire Preparedness subpages on the City's website," the city said, in a news release announcing the new webpage.

The new site includes information on earthquakes, storms and flooding, wildfires, and even has information on evacuation routes, hot weather cooling centers and power outages. The site also offers easy to use checklists, information on how to make an emergency plan and a place to sign up for emergency alerts.

"Know what to do in an earthquake," the city of Fremont tweeted Oct. 18, the anniversary of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.
