City of Fremont Launches 'Think Silicon Valley' Website
The website and accompanying blog will cater to Fremont's growing business stakeholders.

With the City of Fremont’s business vision slowly but surely becoming a reality, officials have launched a new website and blog dedicated to the growing sector.
Website www.ThinkSiliconValley.com and blog Takes from Silicon Valley East will provide a platform for business investors, developers, entrepreneurs and community members to share ideas and discuss business topics.
The websites makes it known that Fremont is a thriving and important part of Silicon Valley, officials said.

“Many still perceive Fremont sitting on the edge of Silicon Valley,” said Fremont Economic Development Director Kelly Kline. “We want to share with the world that Fremont is a vibrant part of the Silicon Valley ecosystem.”
According to city officials, the City has made “a remarkable comeback” since the recession. Fremont has become a manufacturing hub with more than 110 industrial businesses, 30 of which focus on clean technologies.
