Community Rallies To Help Find Missing Fremont Teen
The family of 16-year-old Katie Hong has created a GoFundMe page to support the search for Hong.

FREMONT, CA — Loved ones have set up a fundraiser for help finding 16-year-old Katie Hong, of Fremont, who has been missing since July 25. They are seeking to raise $45,000.
“Every moment without her has been absolutely heartbreaking for the family. We are desperate to bring her home,” the family wrote on a GoFundMe page, noting that the “process of finding Katie requires resources that come at a significant cost.”
On the “Help Bring Katie Home" GoFundMe page, family members wrote that Hong’s parents, both of whom are deaf, are taking leaves from work to focus on the search for their daughter and to support her younger sister.
