New Innovation Center To Bring Dozens Of High-Tech Jobs To Fremont: Officials

The project is expected to be completed sometime in 2026, city officials said.

FREMONT, CA — Construction has begun on the innovation center that Fremont officials say will bring dozens of tech jobs to the city.

The $30 million manufacturing facility, located in the 43000 block of Fremont Boulevard, is being built by North Palisade Partners, an industrial real estate and investment firm.

Officials with North Palisades Partners said earlier this month that breaking ground on this project accentuates Fremont's ongoing economic boom.

“Few cities have been as thoughtful in creating a magnet for the sort of hub of the thriving advanced manufacturing ecosystem that will attract companies from across the globe," North Palisade Partners Partner John Petersen said in a statement earlier this month.

The innovation center is expected to be completed by mid-2026, according to the investment group. It will also generate more than 100 permanent high-tech jobs and provide $100,000 in funding for local beautification projects, according to city officials.
