One lane of southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont is closed because of a crash this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at about 7:45 a.m. on southbound I-880, just north of Mowry Avenue, Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
At least one person was hurt in the crash, but Bartlett said he did not known the extent of the person's injuries.
A Sig-alert was issued at 8:18 a.m. because the No. 2 lane was blocked, Bartlett said.
