Donors Wanted for Upcoming Blood Drive

The Fremont Police Volunteer Unit is holding the 5th Annual Fremont Police Department Blood Drive on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m in honor of Officer Todd Young. 

The blood drive will be hosted by:

The Fremont Police Department in partnership with the American Red Cross is asking the community to come together and donate blood at your local blood banks or at the American Red Cross blood drive here in Fremont on March 9, 2013. 

To schedule you appointment please go to www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: POLICE or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). If you have questions regarding your eligibility to donate blood, please call 1-866-236-3276. 

Depending on the number of registrations we receive, walk-ins will likely be accepted. Identification will be required and if you are under 18 years of age you will need a written consent from a parent or guardian. 

Please make sure you eat a healthy meal and are well hydrated at least two hours before donating.
