Downtown Road Closures Begin Friday for Fremont Festival
Roads will close at 5 p.m. Friday and re-open around 11 p.m. Sunday.

From the Fremont Police Department
Beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 2nd, the following roads will close:
- Hastings Street between Mowry Avenue and Capitol Avenue
- Paseo Padre Parkway between Mowry Avenue and Walnut Avenue
- Capitol Avenue
- State Street
- Liberty Street between Capitol Avenue and Beacon Street
- Beacon Street between State Street and Liberty Street
All roads will reopen Sunday, August 4th between 11:00 p.m. – midnight. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that all drivers use caution while driving in this area over the weekend.
We would also like to remind participants that pets will not be allowed at the event. If you're planning to attend, please visit the Police Department's booth, which will be located at the corner of Hastings Street and Capitol Avenue. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and talk about programs such as National Night Out and Neighborhood Crime Watch.

During this event and any other Fremont event, we ask all community members to always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious activity by calling our non-emergency number at 790-6800 and selecting option 3 or 9-1-1 if you believe you are witnessing a crime in progress.
