E-Biker Drives Dangerously Through Bay Area Traffic, Striking Cars: Police
As more and more cities establish new e-bike laws, residents are asking police to crackdown on unsafe riders.
FREMONT, CA — Police arrested an aggressive e-biker Sept. 14 in Fremont who was weaving through traffic hitting cars.
On Sept. 14, Fremont Police Department officers said they responded to a report of someone riding an electric bike recklessly near Fremont Boulevard and Mowry Avenue.
Police said they were aggressively weaving through traffic, striking cars and creating a dangerous situation for both drivers and pedestrians.

Officers said they quickly apprehended the suspect and placed them under arrest.
The Fremont Fire Department arrived at the scene and, along with other emergency personnel, evaluated the suspect to ensure their well being.

"This incident highlights the importance of safe and responsible behavior while using e-bikes on public roadways," police said.
