New AT&T Store at Fremont Hub Unveiled

AT&T unveiled its newly expanded Fremont store, which will be a hub for innovation and enhanced customer service.  

Located at 39121 Fremont Blvd, the store is a technology showcase that features all of AT&T's products and services under one roof, making it easier and more convenient for consumers searching for the best in telecommunications and entertainment.

"I thank AT&T for its commitment to innovation and continuing to invest in Fremont," said Fremont Mayor Gus Morrison, who performed the ceremonial ribbon cutting.  "AT&T's continued investment in new technologies, network enhancements and first-rate retail service creates jobs in Fremont which supports our local economy."

The new store is a showcase for AT&T U-verse(r) T, AT&T's award winning 100 percent digital IP television service that is now expanding in Northern California.

Where AT&T U-verse services are available, U-verse TV customers can enjoy numerous features and applications, including the ability to manage their DVR recordings and, for qualifying TV customers, watch hit TV shows on select devices with U-verse Mobile; the freedom to manage and playback recorded programs from a single DVR, and to pause and rewind live TV on any U-verse connected TV in the house with Total Home DVR, access to an extensive High Definition (HD) channel lineup with access to more than 170 HD channels - more linear HD channels than anyone; and more.

The store opening comes as AT&T continues to invest in network improvements to provide faster speeds, increased reliability and better wireless service.  

AT&T continues upgrading cell sites with fiber optic and Ethernet connections back to the central switching facilities, enabling faster 4G speeds.

At the grand opening event, AT&T showcased some of its emerging devices as well as the latest tablets and smartphones.
