Roads Reopen Following Fatal Crash In Fremont
The crash impacted the morning commute.

FREMONT, CA — One person was killed and another injured in a fiery crash on Fremont Boulevard early Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports.
The crash involved a single car that hit a tree. It appeared to have happened at a high rate of speed, wrapping the car around the tree and scattering a long debris field.
The victim's name has not been released by authorities. The condition of the injured person is not available.
The Fremont Police Department asked drivers to avoid Fremont Boulevard between Thornton Avenue and Peralta Boulevard as investigators gather evidence as they seek a cause of the crash.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. and the road finally reopened around 12:30 p.m.
