A list of residential, commercial and auto burglaries reported in Fremont.

The following is a list of burglaries – both residential and commercial – that occurred in Fremont from Sept. 3 to Sept. 9 as released by the .
MONDAY, SEPT. 3
A residential burglary was reported at 8:20 a.m. on the 38000 block of Burdette Street. A person reported that it seemed the home had been broken into and that the garage door and a door leading into the home from the garage looked open. Police arrived and found the house had been ransacked at the suspect(s) seemed to have entered the home through an unlocked side gate that leads into the home’s backyard. A ladder was used to remove a screen from a bedroom window, police said. Video games, bicycles, a laptop and other items were among valuables taken from the home.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 4
on suspicion of burglary after a citizen alerted authorities at about 1:10 p.m. that thee men were trying to break into a Parkmeadow Drive home. The citizen heard a burglar alarm go off. When he looked outside, he saw the men hop over the neighbor’s fence and run to a white Lexus that was waiting nearby, police said. An officer located the Lexus near Auto Mall Parkway and Grimmer Boulevard. Multiple officers and detective responded to the scene and performed a high-risk vehicle stop. Three men — a 19-year-old from Union City, an 18-year-old from Oakland and a 27-year-old from Hayward — were arrested on suspicion of burglary. The 27-year-old was also arrested on a parole violation charge.

Five commercial burglaries were reported on Tuesday:
- At 5:50 a.m. police responded to the 34000 block of Fremont Boulevard and learned that a burglary occurred at the business. A family member responded to the area after an alarm alerted them of a break in and a door was found smashed. The loss was unknown.
- At 7:20 a.m., police found that a padlock to a chain link fence surrounding cargo containers at Thornton Junior High School had been cut. Police said the suspect(s) opened one container and tried to pry open another. An electric power washer was taken. Authorities said it’s believed the burglary occurred sometime between 1 p.m. Saturday and Tuesday morning.
- At 10 a.m. a burglary out of Fig Tree Service on the 43000 block of Mission Boulevard was reported. Police said a suspect(s) cut a padlock on a large sliding garage door and stole a computer and more than $30,000 worth of tools.
- A commercial burglary was reported on the 42000 block of Boscell Road was reported at 1:32 p.m. Police said the victim believes the burglary occurred around 2 a.m. but no further details were available.
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 5
on suspicion of burglary Wednesday afternoon after pretending to be residents of the home during a police search, authorities said. Police responded to the area of Blacow Road and Garden Way after receiving multiple calls about a suspicious vehicle in the area, said Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques. Officers responded the area and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. One officer saw “two men jump out of the car pretty fast,” hesitate and then flee by jumping fences, Bosques said. A perimeter was set and police began knocking on residents’ doors in search of the suspects, she said. When officers reached one home, an individual who was later identified as one of the men arrested told officers that the person authorities were looking for didn’t make it into their yard, Bosques added. The responding officer was able to identify one of the suspects as one of the men who fled from her. The 24-year-old Hayward man and 20-year-old East Palo Alto man were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and resisting or delaying arrest.
A residential burglary on the 300 block of Merlin Court was reported around 7:40 a.m. Police said the burglary had occurred the day before and that a laptop and jewelry were taken from the home.
A car was burglarized in the parking lot of Planet Fitness just before 11 p.m. Police said a man told officers he saw a man pull up in a white newer model vehicle, break into the car next to where he was parked and drove off. The suspect was described as a white man with long, straggly hair of thin build. He was last seen wearing a white shirt. Police said a duffle bag was stolen.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 6
A residential burglary was reported around 8:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Ocaso Camino. Police said a woman reported that her alarm went off around 7:45 a.m. and that suspect(s) tried to open the front door of her home by body force or kicking it. Surveillance vidoe found that a dark grey or black newer model Honda Accord entered the property around 7:05 a.m. and left around 7:50 a.m., about three minutes after the alarm was activated. The vehicle was seen running a stop sign after turning south on Paseo Padre Parkway but the car was missing a front and black plate.
A residential burglary was reported on the 4000 block of Trinidad Terrace at 2:30 p.m. after a person reported that his neighbor's gate and sliding glaass door were open. Police found that the home was ransacked and an iPad and jewelery were stolen from the home. Authorities said it appears the suspects entered by prying a rear window open. Surveillance video indicated that the suspects were two black women ages 20 and 18. One was described to be heavy set with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans. The suspect described as an 18-year-old woman is said to be of athletic build with long brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark shirt and short jean shorts. A third suspect was described as an 18-year-old white woman of average build with short bond hair and was last seen wearing a light shirt and light jeans. The three were last seen fleeing in a four-door, light colored sedan.
Two commercial burglaries were reported Thursday:
- Quick Stop on Washington Boulevard was reported burglarized just after 6 a.m. Authorities said suspects entered the store some time between 4:55 a.m. and 4:57 a.m. by breaking the front glass doors. The suspects headed toward the register, stole cigarettes and lottery scratchers and left, police said. Surveillance video revealed that the suspects entered the property in a dark colored van then fled westbound in the vehicle on Washington Boulevard. The suspects were described as two men of unknown race of average height and weight. One was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black gloves and a black mask. The other was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, black beanie, black goves and a white cloth as a mask.
- Good Nite Inn reported a burglary just before 3 p.m. Police said suspect(s) entered the business' laundry room overnight, cut padlocks off vending machines and stole coins.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 7
A home burglary was reported on the 36000 block of Nichols Avenue around 6:15 p.m. No suspect was seen but authorities believe a possible suspect vehicle is a silver, four-door vehicle that could be a Chrysler Sebring or a similar automobile. Police said the burglary occurred sometime between :30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 8
No burglary reports.
A home invasion was reported in which four men beat and robbed a woman Saturday morning. for more information.
SUNDAY, SEPT . 9
Police responded to the 4800 block of Coco Palm Drive to investigate a burglary reported online. The burglary occurred between 1:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 and the suspect(s) entered through an unlocked rear door. Police said a game console and electric guitar were stolen.
Two commercial burglaries were reported Sunday:
- Police responded to a commercial burglary on the 38000 block of Fremont Boulevard around 12:10 p.m. The victim told police that his office and storage office were broken into and that his car keys, vehicle sales documents and other business paperwork were taken, according to Fremont police. The suspect(s) entered by opening a door lock with a credit card or something similar to that tool, and a screw driver was used to pry open an office door, police said. No further details were available.
- A storage facility in the Public Storage Facility at 47209 Warm Springs Boulevard was reported burglarized around 6:05 p.m. Police said the victim said a person has entered his locked storage unit and stole things sometime between 2 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 9. The loss was a large screen TV.
