FREMONT, CA — A Fremont man faces human trafficking charges after investigators allege he ran a brothel where two women were rescued last week in San Jose.

San Jose police credited multiple community tips for fueling a month-long investigation by the Human Trafficking Task Force into a suspected residential brothel. According to police, the HTTF worked with several police units last Friday to execute a search warrant at a property on South 24th Street.

While serving the warrant, police said officers found two survivors of the human trafficking operation and seized an estimated $10,000 in cash.
