Fremont Plans to 'Make a Difference' With Volunteer Work
Community members are invited to take part during this national day of volunteering.

From Fremont.gov
Make a Difference Day, the national day of volunteering, is set to take place Saturday, October 27. The City is ramping up a huge effort to get as many volunteers as possible working together to improve Fremont on the last Saturday of October.
Consider mobilizing a small group of friends and family, or an entire neighborhood, to work on a volunteer project. Make a Difference Day is also a great opportunity for students to complete community service hours or service learning projects. This year’s Make a Difference Day is sponsored by the City’s Human Relations Commission, the Sisters of the Holy Family, and the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose.
