FREMONT, CA — The designing of a new park is in the works, and residents' ideas about the project are welcome, the City of Fremont announced Wednesday.

On Thursday, Fremont residents can participate in a community site walk and discussion at the proposed location of "Palm Avenue Community Park." The event starts at 6 p.m.

"Guided by the 2022 Parks and Recreation Master Plan, this future park may include sports fields, courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, open lawns, and more," city officials said. "Community input continues to help shape the park design and determine other park amenities."
