The fitness area is located in the East Meadow of Central Park at 40000 Paseo Padre Parkway near the softball complex and dog park at the north end of Lake Elizabeth. Construction on the project began in November 2024, officials shared.
The circular space features a fitness rig, benches, a covering for shade, drinking fountains and improved concrete pathways. When resting between reps, those working out can take in the lake, Mission Peak Hills and surrounding greenery.
