Mailboxes Broken Into at Aparment Complex

Mailboxes at the Sundale South Apartments were tampered with early Thursday morning.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the incident was reported at about 3:10 a.m. at the complex, located at 4950 Stevenson Blvd.

A security guard told police that the mailboxes were secure during his 2 a.m. round, but when he returned, he found one set of mailboxes in the front foyer pried open.

Mail was scattered on the ground, according to police.

The security guard put the dropped mail into the appropriate boxes and secured it, police said.

No suspects were identified.
