Update: Man in Critical Condition After Car Crashes into Backyard
Police say the motorist's vehicle crashed into the backyard of a home on Robin Avenue.

A 20-year-old man was hospitalized after crashing through a backyard fence Wednesday night, authorities said.
According to Fremont Police Spokeswoman Geneva Bosques, the solo-vehicle accident occurred just before 9:40 p.m. on Grimmer Boulevard near Victoria Avenue.

The driver was partially ejected and fire officials determined he was in critical condition before he was transferred to a local hospital, Bosques said.
The driver may have been speeding, Bosques said.

Witnesses told police that the driver may have been racing with a dark colored Mustang before the collision occurred.
Alcohol and drugs do not seem to be factors in the accident, Bosques added.
The driver's condition was unknown as of 4:30 p.m., police said.
The vehicle was overturned and crashed into the backyard of a home on the 40000 block of Robin Street, police said.
According to KTVU, the owner of the home's backyard said cars have crashed through his fence since he's lived there.
