Man Spies on Children Exercising at Elementary School With Binoculars

A man was spotted using binoculars to watch a group of children exercise at Fremont's Maloney Elementary School Wednesday morning, according to media reports.

The man was spotted sitting in a dark brown van parked on the street outside of the school, located at 37800 Logan Drive in Fremont, at about 9:30 a.m., the Fremont Argus reports.

The children were running laps outside for gym class, according to the Argus.

A school custodian approached the van, which was parked near the intersection of Kimbro Street and Canfield Drive, but the man drove off.

Officers responded to the area and searched for the vehicle but could not locate it.

The man was described as a white male in his 30s wearing a dark colored jacket, according to the repot.
