Neighbor Witnesses Burglary, Helps Police Catch Suspects

Police arrested two men after a witness called authorities to report that she saw two men enter her neighbor’s backyard on Parkmeadow Court. The witness gave police a description of the suspects’ vehicle and officers spotted the vehicle as it was heading toward the Fremont Pine Apartments. The pair of suspects were arrested after the home owner’s loss was found inside of the men’s pockets, police said.
Vehicle Strikes Bicyclist

A bicyclist suffered major injuries after being struck by a vehicle when the bicyclist failed to stop at a stop sign on Driscoll Road while riding northbound on Chiltern Drive. Police said the bicyclist was transported to San Jose Regional and is expected to survive.
Drunken Man Drives into Ditch
A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after driving his vehicle into a drainage ditch near Target at Pacific Commons.
Stolen Vehicle Reported
A red 1988 Honda CRX was reported stolen from the 5000 block of Castlewood Common.
Wanted Man Tries to Get Medication at Kaiser
A 57-year-old man was arrested after police were called to Kaiser Fremont when the man tried to obtain meds and “became belligerent when the doctor refused.” The man had two warrants and were arrested for those outstanding warrants.
GPS, Gift Cards Stolen at BART Parking Lot
A man reported that between 7:40 a.m. and 6:20 p.m., a $260 GPS and numerous gift cards totaling $500 were stolen from his vehicle. Police said the victim’s car window was smashed while it was parked and locked in parking lot G of the Fremont BART station.
