Popular Dog Park Closes Temporarily

FREMONT, CA — Central Park's large and small dog park areas are closed Tuesday through Friday for quarterly maintenance, the City of Fremont announced Friday.

Maintenance tasks during the dog park's closing include deep steam-cleaning; upkeep for shrubs and trees; and disinfecting the turf, structures, fixtures and drinking fountains, according to city officials.

The dog park will reopen on Saturday, they said.

The Central Park Dog Park is located near the Fremont Animal Shelter at 1740 Stevenson Blvd., Fremont.
